ABOUT ME |

Welcome to my space!  I’m Heather and I’m the owner of The Girls Next Door salon and I’d like to thank you for your interest in joining me on your beautiful hair journey. 

I specialize in low maintenance, blended hair color and styles.  I want you to feel confident in your look without feeling “chained to the chair”.  I’ve spent most of my career perfecting my color techniques to achieve beautifully long lasting results.  My top priority as a hairdresser is to make sure that you are HEARD and intently listened to during our time together.

I always strive to provide you with education and solutions to the difficulties you may have with your hair, all while achieving results you're looking for, and preserving the integrity of your hair during and in between your appointments.

We opened these doors in 2009 when this was just a dream.  Now this salon has blossomed into a beautiful place to come as you are, feeling comfortable and rejuvenated with hair you adore.

During my off time I enjoy crafting, listening to music, spending time with my loving husband and making memories with friends and family.  I treasure these types of self care and I always make a point to encourage it.

When serving you, I understand you’re taking time out of your busy schedule to have a relaxing & rejuvenating experience.  I plan to provide you with that to my best ability!

My long term goal is to provide a safe, welcoming space in our community for all people.  I would love to reach a point where I have plenty of resources to give back to the community.  I believe that the craft of beauty has the power to change the world and i aspire to harness that power and put it into action! One head at a time.

Going to a new, traditional salon may be intimidating. Trusting a new stylist can be hard.  That’s what’s unique about my salon setting - you can expect a worry free, judgment free, relaxing, experience, customized just for you.

We will have a thorough consultation to make sure you’re 100% confident in the service you’ll be receiving. Expect to be pampered with complementary drinks snacks  and a great music list to set the tone.  And don’t worry I’ve got you covered with phone, chargers, and free Wi-Fi to keep you entertained during your experience.

Feeling the vibe yet?

After your color is done, processing will get you shampooed, and winter, receive a complimentary, hot towel, and luxurious scalp massage.  During drawing and styling, I’ll teach you the secrets on keeping your hair looking exactly like it was the day if you left my chair. We’ll create a maintenance plan and home care routine together to make sure you feel great about your hair all the way until your next visit with me. Want to make sure you absolutely love the finished product will get you set up for your next appointment checked out and you’ll be on your way to a beautiful day in your beautiful hair.

Heather’s books are open at three months at a time, with her next available appointment being about 6 weeks at a time, depending on the time needed.  Evenings and Saturday appointments typically get booked the fastest.  You are always welcome to join her waitlist here if you don’t see an appointment that will work for you.
